Description
Heavenly Horses moves through luminous currents of color and light, revealing a powerful presence that feels both grounded and otherworldly. The horse appears almost illuminated from within, surrounded by glowing tones that suggest motion, radiance, and grace.

A mixed media painting with bold brushwork and layered color create a sense of living energy across the canvas. The horse stands as a symbol of noble strength—confident, watchful, and guided by something beyond what the eye can see.

Through vibrant expression and dynamic movement, Esther Kelly captures a moment where earthly power meets heavenly presence. The painting invites viewers to experience the quiet majesty of strength guided by light.

Artist Inspiration
This work was inspired by the story of Elijah and the heavenly chariots of fire (2 Kings 6), where the servant’s eyes were opened to see that the mountains were filled with horses and chariots of fire surrounding them. The painting reflects the idea that unseen strength and divine presence are often closer than we realize.
